Pawsabilities is an educational program that utilizes live animal presentations to engage the minds of at-risk and special needs students. We incorporate reading, math and science in our academic activities, and encourage an "I can do it" attitude from our kids.

It has long been recognized that interaction with animals can play a positive role in the social development of children. Animals inspire compassion, instill a sense of responsibility, and help to create an overall respect for life. A student's involvement with Pawsabilities helps to foster their self-esteem and offers them positive alternatives for coping in a somtimes harsh world. Armed with lessons taught by nature, students learn to apply their critical thinking skills to everyday social situations. Ultimately, we introduce these children to the “pawsabilities” that they might not have otherwise known existed.
